MEMS-Studio Data Protection Information Notice

The purpose this Data Protection Information Notice is to provide you with the processing of personal data and login credentials when downloading and interacting with the MEMS-Studio.

#1. Website usage:

When you connect with ST website page https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/mems-studio.html to download certain MEMS-Studio desktop software solution you will be presented with two options :

Option 1: the option to complete the registration process via the registration form “MyST” available via the login button “Log in to myST ” if you have already registered, or Create MyST Account if you have not already registered.

Option 2: the option to download in an anonymous manner as guest.

On a personal data protection standpoint all interactions with the ST website including the registration process are subject to the terms set forth in the Privacy Portal made available to you via the footnote “Security & Privacy Portal”.

#2. Local usage:

After downloading, other than as a guest, a MEMS-Studio desktop software solution via the website and installing it on your PC or laptop, you will be directed to a window to enter you login credential you have created via your initial registration to the ST’s website. At this stage, please note that we will be able to track your activity and associate it to you. The purpose of such tracking is for analytics and measurement to understand how you use our software, how we can improve it, and to provide you with a better user experience.

Please note that the tracking feature provides us with the analytic capacity to infer information associated to the usage of our software (e.g., development boards, components applications feature) and communicate with you about such usage.

At any time, you can decide to stop the tracking via the menu Settings – myST Login.
