System Development with STMicroelectronics

The online course offered by ST to university students

Students

How to design an electronic system based on a microcontroller

How to design an electronic system based on a microcontroller

STMicroelectronics is offering an online theoretical and practical course to university students, valid for the acquisition of Crediti Formativi Universitari (CFU). The CFU value is agreed with universities and relates to the second part (Part II) of the course.

Lessons will be held in English from March to June 2024.

Objective

This online course aims to show to students how to design and build systems around microcontrollers and electronics developed by ST. It follows the hardware and software processes for the creation of electronic applications, including the definition and analysis of specifications, the design, creation, and integration of components, and testing.

The course consists of two parts: the first provides a general overview of electronics systems and is offered to all university students in the STEM domain, while the second focuses more on theoretical and practical activities under the guidance of ST experts, and is offered to students of master’s degree courses in the STEM domain.

Why apply

Focus

Participants will acquire competences on microcontrollers, MEMS sensors, ST driving solutions, and ST development tools, together with knowledge on advanced systems such as energy-autonomous sensor nodes and artificial intelligence. The second part focuses on ST components and tools for the design and debugging of applications based on STM32 microcontrollers.

Faculty

You’ll find experienced and qualified experts from the ST Technical Staff Community.

The Technical Staff Community consists of employees that are recognized for their expertise in specific core technologies. This community aims to create an environment of continuous knowledge sharing and innovation that contributes to technological development at STMicroelectronics.

Location

Lessons will be held online, in the English language.

CFU

The value of CFU will be agreed with universities and may vary from one university to another.
