InnovationFair
InnovationFair is an annual event inviting novel ideas from Indian universities. This year’s theme is Humanoids leveraging AI technologies. We welcome ideas in the following areas: Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), sensing, motion control, power delivery, and wireless charging.
The shortlisted teams will receive one of the following platforms: STM32N6570-DK, STEVAL-MKBOXPRO, STEVAL-STWINBX1, STEVAL-ROBKIT1 to develop their innovative ideas. Students can explore various examples of embedded solutions using Edge AI through the ST AIoT Craft online tool and by visiting ST’s Edge AI Suite web pages.
Cash awards and internship opportunities will be offered to participants of the top three teams. Additionally, one shortlisted idea may receive special mentorship and a chance to be showcased at the ST booth during electronica India in September 2026.
Important dates
- Last date for submission of complete ideas: 20th October 2025
- Announcement of shortlisted teams: 31st October 2025
- Distribution of evaluation boards to shortlisted teams: 10th November 2025
- Last date for submission of implemented projects: 10th February 2026
- Demo presentations at STMicroelectronics, Greater Noida: 16th - 19th March 2026
The applicants
Participation is open to B. Tech 3rd & 4th year engineering students, Master’s students, and university researchers. Engineering student entries must be supported by a professor, with each professor endorsing only one idea.
The winners
Shortlisted teams will develop their projects and will be invited to ST Greater Noida during ST TechWeek (16th –19th March 2026) to demonstrate their working solutions. The top three teams will be rewarded.
The prize
The winning teams will receive cash prizes as follows:
1st prize: $1,000 USD
2nd prize: $800 USD
3rd prize: $600 USD
