In 2016, ST was certified to the international standard ISO 22301 (Security and resilience – Business continuity management systems). This certification has been successfully renewed in December 2019.

In 2024, ST obtained its first company-wide certification to the international standard ISO28000:2022 for its Security Management System.

An effective quality management system allows us to improve operational efficiency and productivity and to provide better quality products. It is a backbone to achieve our goal of becoming the quality benchmark in the semiconductor industry.

In ST, we adhere to the internationally recognized quality management standards ISO 9001 and IATF (international Automotive Task Force) 16949. ST received its first company-wide certification in 2003, and this certification has been renewed every three years since that time.

ST manufacturing sites are certified to the Environmental, Health and Safety norms ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001 and the “Environmental Management and Audit Scheme” (EMAS).

Mastercard has developed the Card Quality Management (CQM) program to ensure a worldwide sufficient quality level for the Mastercard branded cards. For card components providers, the CQM program is based on CQM requirements self-assessment controlled by CQM certification audits according to a rigorous methodology. CQM certification highlights our commitment to provide card components with best-in-class CQM quality labels to our card manufacturers.
