Wireless Battery Monitoring

Battery monitoring is essential to ensure continuity of operations in a data center or networking center. With a battery monitoring system, a failing battery can be quickly diagnosed and replaced before it drains the remaining good batteries in the string. This monitoring solution will prolong the life of the remaining batteries as well as help to make sure any power outage to a facility can be properly handled by the UPS system.  Battery monitoring is typically implemented with a wireless Data Collection Module (DCM) connected to the batteries.  The wireless DCM collects information from the batteries and sends it wirelessly to a battery monitoring unit which stores the data for further usage and analysis.
