ST’s high voltage BST capacitance controller series (STHVDAC) is a high voltage digital-to-analog converter (DAC) specifically designed to control and meet the wide tuning bias voltage requirement of BST tunable capacitors.
It provides three independent high voltage outputs to control three different capacitances. It is fully controlled through an RFFE (RF front-end) serial interface.
All products support Turbo and Glide modes for optimal system performance and include an integrated boost converter with 3 to 6 programmable outputs (from 0 to 24 V).
The STHVDAC-253C7 supports a 1.8 V MIPI RFFE serial interface with an extended frequency range up to 52 MHz with synchronous reads. It can also accept 3 USIDs in order to control 3 antennas with a single device.
The STHVDAC-253C7 also includes a GPIO input for register swapping during DPDT switching and USB cable plug-in.
