The STM32L0x1 Access line is the entry point of the STM32L0 series offering tiny packages such as the WLCSP25 (2x2mm), up to 192-Kbytes of Flash memory, up to 20-Kbytes of RAM and up to 6Kbytes of embedded EEPROM. This line also gives access to the autonomous peripherals, real-time clock, low-power time clock, hardware encryption and ultra-low-power 12-bit ADC with 48 µA budget consumption at 100 Ksps.
The STM32L0x1 line is the perfect fit for applications such as mice or keyboards, as a result of the very low active current consumption, and well fits industrial applications such as gas and water meters, thanks to the embedded hardware encryption (AES 128-bit) and peripherals available in ultra-low-power mode.
The STM32L5 is based on Arm® Cortex-M33 and TrustZone® technology combined with STMicroelectronics security implementation. On your STM32L562E-DK discovery board, TrustZone is disabled (factory setting) and you can develop as on any other STM32 device.
