The I-CUBE-ANJAY Expansion Package consists of a set of libraries that connect STM32L4 Series microcontrollers to LwM2M servers.
I-CUBE-ANJAY runs on FreeRTOS™ Operating System and bundles ANJAY (the LwM2M client), X-CUBE-CELLULAR, LwIP (network stack) and MbedTLS (crypto library).
The package includes full-blown demo applications for STM32L496G-DISCO and B-L462E-CELL1 boards, which support cellular connectivity through an integration with X-CUBE-CELLULAR.
These applications enable to collect data from all available sensors integrated on these boards and send these data to the Cloud via the Coiote IoT platform using the LwM2M protocol. They also enable management and configuration of the device from the Coiote IoT platform.
STM32CubeMX projects that were used to generate the demo applications can be used as boiler plates to start new projects depending on the needs and available hardware.
LwM2M protocol is an open standard communication protocol built on top of CoAP that enables secure, reliable, and energy-efficient Device-To-Cloud communication, in particular sensor data collection, device management capabilities and OTA services. Furthermore, LwM2M also provides device life cycle management capabilities to enable management of device credentials including device provisioning and credentials Lifecyle management.
