3kW interleaved, continuous conduction mode digital PFC evaluation board
The STEVAL-IPFC01V1 evaluation board can drive three interleaved boost converters, working at a fixed frequency in continuous conduction mode (CCM) with average current control. The kit represents a mixed analog-digital solution that is able to manage cycle-by-cycle current regulation, even at very high switching frequencies.
A phase-shedding strategy helps achieve a nearly flat efficiency curve with an approximately 98% peak value. Full load THD is at around 3% and power factor (PF) above 0.99.
The converter is designed around the STNRGPF01 digital controller, and is fully supported by the eDesignSuite tool (if using internet explorer click here), which can take your design parameter inputs and generate the schematics, bill of materials and even the binary object code that you can then upload into the controller memory using a dedicated programming tool.
3kW Full-bridge, LLC resonant DC-DC digital converter evaluation board
The STEVAL-DPSLLCK1 evaluation board provides a 400V to 48V – 62.5A conversion solution, featuring a modular and portable hardware and firmware architecture that can help you generate your designs for digital SMPS solutions more quickly.
The power board implements a full-bridge LLC resonant converter with adaptive output synchronous rectification, and the control board hosts the STM32F334R8 microcontroller running preloaded firmware; both boards are connected through a specially designed digital power connector to properly interface the power and control stages.
An isolated bidirectional UART is also provided to enable communication with another controller and facilitate integration of the design into a complete AC-DC digital converter.
