Payment dongles are the most basic mPOS devices typically connected via an audio jack or BLE to a mobile device that also provides the PIN pad. mPOS dongles run EMVCo Level 1 and 2 contact and contactless stacks as well as basic tamper detection and cryptography functions required for PCI on the single microcontroller in the system

Our ST25R NFC readers provide high sensitivity and facilitate antenna adaptation which significantly reduces certification efforts and helps compress time to market. We also provide Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity and Qi compliant wireless charging solutions.
