Gasoline internal combustion engines running on compressed natural gas (CNG) are based on proven technologies and typically have lower emissions and lower fuel costs than gasoline and diesel vehicles.
CNG is often used in bi-fuel gasoline vehicles, where it can be used alternatively with gasoline.
