Localization of assets, goods or vehicles as well as people or animals based on a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) is enabling a large variety of services including fleet management, goods tracking, road tolling, anti-theft, people and pet location in addition to assisted navigation. Based on a constellation of satellites, only a few global satnav systems are deployed including the Global Positioning System (GPS), Europe’s Galileo, Russia’s GLONASS, China’s BeiDou (BDS) and Japan’s QZSS.

ST’s Teseo family of GNSS positioning ICs and modules provides superior and reliable positioning accuracy with ability to simultaneously handle the different GPSS standards to help fit the wide range of requirements needed to implement the various systems. We also provide embedded firmware and a complete evaluation environment to help minimize time to market.
