Description
The ST BrightSense SDK (software development kit) provides a comprehensive and efficient solution for application development across the entire range of ST BrightSense image sensors.
To get started, simply connect the EVK Main to your computer via USB, download the free software package from our website, and begin development immediately. This robust SDK supports both Windows and Ubuntu platforms, allowing you to work within your preferred operating environment.
The SDK includes an extensive tools library and a flexible Python API wrapper, facilitating seamless integration and straightforward extension to other environments such as MATLAB®, C++, and Visual Basic via simple wrapper porting from Python.
The SDK offers a comprehensive set of features, including access to sensor registers index with predefined constants, frame decoding, and advanced sensor functionalities such as automatic wake up and image difference mode. Moreover, it incorporates robust computer vision algorithms through OpenCV integration, empowering developers to develop AI-based camera applications with ease.
