What is an ST25D application-specific dynamic tag?
The series offers a simple solution to add wireless short-range connectivity to specific applications. The dynamic tag integrates a standardized NFC Forum Type 5 interface, ensuring compatibility with smartphones and professional NFC/RFID readers. Additionally, the tag offers one or two wired PWM interfaces on the other side, removing the need for a microcontroller. This dual architecture allows for quick, contactless communication alongside straightforward control signal output.
Applications
Setting a power level, speed or rotor position is a common way to control motors in industrial and consumer applications and is easily handled using PWM (pulse width modulation) signals.
