Description
The VD16GZ is a 1.5 megapixel global shutter image sensor with a pixel size of 2.61 µm and a color pattern of RGB-IR 4x4. Using pre-eminent 3D stacking and ST patented processes, it performs outstandingly in the visible and the near infrared region (940 nm). The sensor captures up to 88 frames per second in a 1124 x 1364 resolution format. The pixel construction of this device minimizes crosstalk and preserves high MTF (modulation transfer function) in both the visible and IR domain.
Motion vectors can be streamed with or without image, making SLAM or odometry computation more efficient.
