The actuator control unit is the interface used to control tractors and tractor tools including those for harvesting, seeding and irrigation. It’s a combination of a human machine interface (HMI) with a display, wireless or wired connectivity to other subsystems in the tractor and a set of actuators distributed along the tractor and its tools to enable and support the execution of the various tasks.

We have a range of high-performance STM32 microcontrollers supporting advanced graphic and touch screen interfaces for displays and control purposes as well as a comprehensive set of wired – including CAN and USB – and wireless – including Bluetooth Low Energy and long range Sub-1GHz – connectivity solutions. In addition, we provide a complete range of motor control solutions with integrated motor drivers as well as power MOSFETs, gate drivers and DC-DC power management and conversion solutions.

    • Combining the X-NUCLEO-IHM01A1 (expansion board based on the L6474) with the NUCLEO-F030R8, (for istance) the user can evaluate a stepper motor drive. It provides an affordable and easy-to-use solution for motor control driving for stepper motors.
