The present terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") shall govern the supply by STMicroelectronics N.V. ("ST") of free STM32 Nucleo boards at the SPS IPC Drives 2016 exhibition (Nuremberg, November 22th - 24th, 2016).
1. Admissibility conditions of application
- Applications are only open to legal entities or individuals other than ST group employees or agents
- The start date and the closing date for submitting applications are as specified on the application entry page.
- Only ONE application per person is authorized.
- A limited number of Evaluation tools will be offered for free as follows

- Once the number of applications equals the number of available Evaluation Tools, further applications will not be possible.
2. Rules for filling-in the application form
- To apply for an Evaluation Tool, applicants shall complete the official on-line entry form linked from the application entry page.
- In the application form, applicants shall select only one type of Evaluation Tool.
- All the mandatory fields must be filled-in to validate the application.
- Any misrepresentation, breach of these Terms and Conditions or fraudulent application by an applicant will invalidate its application.
3. Evaluation Tool withdrawal process
- The Evaluation Tool is supplied while proceeding through the following three steps:
- Step 1. Applicant shall complete the application form in accordance with the rules in section 2. A valid application is acknowledged by email that applicant will receive in his/her email account as specified in the application form.
- Step 2. Applicant shall print the voucher contained in the email aforementioned.
- Step 3. Applicant shall exchange the voucher against an Evaluation Tool of the selected type on the booth of ST at the SPS IPC Drives 2016 exhibition. ST reserves the right to verify the validity of a voucher before handing out the Evaluation Tool.
4. No obligations.
- The application form is not a purchase agreement. Filing-in and submitting an application form does not create any obligation to purchase any ST goods or services for the applicants.
- ST does not guarantee the availability of an Evaluation Tool of the selected type or of any kind, even where the applicant has been delivered with or holds a valid voucher. Evaluation Tools are provided within the limits of available stocks, without any obligation on ST’s part vis-à-vis applicants.
- ST reserves the right to discontinue the supply of the Evaluation Tools at any time for any reason whatsoever.
5. Disclaimer
- ST will not be liable for any failure of receipt of applications. ST takes no responsibility for any applications which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
- The Evaluation Tools are provided "AS IS", with all faults. ST makes no warranty whatsoever with respect to the Evaluation Tools. ST expressly disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and any warranty which may arise from course or performance, course of dealing or usage of trade. Further ST does not warrant that the Evaluation Tools will meet applicants’ requirements or expectations. ST disclaims any responsibility or liability for damage or loss to any person or property whether arising in tort, contract or otherwise relating to the Boards or their use or performance.
- ST does not warrant or represent that any license, either express or implied, is granted under any patent right, copyright, mask work right, or other intellectual property rights of ST or third parties covering or relating to the Evaluation Tools and/or their use (alone or in combination with any other items).
6. Personal data policy
- Applicants certify the accuracy of the information supplied in the application form.
- Applicants have the right to ask ST which personal data ST hold about them. In addition, applicants have the right to correct or delete personal data ST hold about them. 7. Export - tax Laws
- Applicants shall comply with all relevant national and international export control regulations.
- All taxes applicable the supply of the Evaluation Tools are the applicants’ responsibility.
8. Governing law - Disputes resolution
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland.
- Any disputes arising between ST and an applicant in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Canton of Geneva (Switzerland).
9. Modification of these Terms and Conditions
- ST reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede these terms and Conditions, in its sole discretion, without prior written notice.
